Tracy Hull is a disciple of the late great Victor Fazio. She entered colorectal surgery at a time when there were relatively few women in the US in our specialty.
She has risen through the academic ranks and is now Professor of Surgery and Section chief of IBD at CCF, where she serves on the Board of Governors and Board of Trustees.
She has had almost every leadership position in US colorectal surgery including President of ASCRS, Editor of the ASCRS textbook, Associate Editor of DCR and written examination chair for the ABCRS.
She is a master surgeon who is a valued mentor, has lectured all around the world and authored countless publications and book chapters.
