Kate is an inspirational bespoke colorectal and trauma consultant surgeon at one of the biggest and busiest major trauma centres in Europe. She has had to make many difficult decisions balancing surgery and being a mum to two young children.
Kate is a colorectal and trauma consultant at Royal London Hospital. She leads by example, always putting patients needs before her own.
She is friendly and approachable and is always accessible to trainees. A real inspiration to many, she delivers excellent teaching. I can think of no better role model for inspiring surgeons of the future.
