Laura Hancock has been instrumental in leading research and improving outcomes for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) patients regionally and nationally. She is involved in multiple projects within ACPGBI driving forward IBD research.
Laura is also involved in education and has successfully organised the Advanced Coloproctology Course, helped with early years consultant network and annual ACPGBI meeting.
She is also and excellent surgical trainer and mentor to multiple trainees in the region. Her passion and drive to improve in research and education with a focus on IBD is a true inspiration to surgeons of the future.
